About TCG Waste Not

My name is Kevin, and I also go by "K2" (hence my online handle i_m_K2).

This is my blog about reusing materials to create custom storage solutions for trading card games.  I named it "TCG Waste Not" after the old adage "waste not, want not."  I have no plans to monetize anything.  I just want to share something I think is cool, and try to get others thinking about repurposing materials too.

I love trading card games.  A classmate introduced me to Magic: the Gathering in 1994, and there was no turning back.  (Shoutout to my parents for letting me buy cards.)  I got into Marvel OverPower in 1996, Pokémon TCG in 1999, and Disney Lorcana in 2023.  (If you count online TCGs, I've also dabbled with HearthStone and I play Marvel Snap.)  I love thinking of new combos and brewing new decks.  Now that my kids are old enough, I have the joy of teaching them Pokémon TCG and Lorcana and seeing it click for them.

Hope you think my ideas are cool.  More than that, I hope you think twice before throwing away your packaging.
